Blog, Blog, Blog!

Hello, hello!

Thank you for viewing my blog! It's been both a while and not long enough!

I have been arting during the quiet stretches between posts, I swear! The coloring I do is tedious work, but I think it's worth it for the quality I strive to achieve!

I want my finished works to be masterpieces! So, I'm usually my own worst critic and bully lol.

I've also begun working on some new designs for the online shop I brought back from the dead. I'm still tweaking it, but hopefully it'll be fully functional soon!

So far, there are bookmarks, stickers, button badges, shrink pin badges, and shrinky charms available.

There might even be an odd hand-bound sketch book or custom resin craft, heck, maybe even some jewelry pieces and handmade clothing accessories later on.

[I'm so ambitious lol]

I will be using Printify, which is linked up to my shop for shirts, bags, and blankets down the road after I get the hang of the shop- after tweaking it. But aside from those, everything is made in-house- er apartment.

Right from the sketch concepts to the final sketches. Then, coloring either digitally or traditionally. I print, cut, and piece/press/glue everything myself.

It may be a lot of work, but it's work done by my hands and that's the best feeling in the world- to say I thought of it and brought it to life, here.

There are so many designs and stories waiting to be shared in my world box [it's just a storage bin lol] that I've been saving to get out. I may share or tour its contents soon in the next blog- I'm not sure yet.

That inner critic of mine says otherwise, but if I don't, then who will share all of these wonderful ideas, worlds, and characters? I'm ready to get out there and-

"Create to Inspire & Inspire to Create!"

^ This story follows a handful of characters inspired by my collection of vintage dolls. That may or may not be haunted. Starting with sketches, then ideas that soon took on a life of their own, I cannot wait to share them!

~Drip, Drip, Draw~

I've even gotten the chance to squeeze some sketching in during breaks. It helps when I've hit a snag in the coloring process. What do you do or recommend that helps relieve stress between long stretches of a project?

Rough Sketch I did of my alias/artsona during a break from digitally coloring the Bogle. It's not perfect, but neither am I, and it was relaxing to just throw the pencil around on paper lol. The mess on her forehead is my birthmark; I like to hide it behind my bangs in real life.
